ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Allied Health Department is recognised as the main educational institute in the Kingdom that prepares national allied health professionals. The allied Health Department develops innovative programs within the allied health specialities that reflect changes currently evolving in the workplace. The overall goal of the Allied Health Programs is to develop highly qualified and knowledgeable health professionals who are competent to perform the assigned responsibilities in various health care delivery endeavours. Through its curriculum, each program in the Allied Health Division strives to give the student both basic professional education and competency-based scientific training, thus enabling them to meet the assigned responsibilities with confidence, proficiency and scientific comprehension.
OUR FACULTY
The Department of Allied Health Sciences includes a group of competent professors with specialization in various health sciences such as pharmacy, medical laboratories, diagnostic radiology, dental health and public health. Whereas, in addition to their academic qualifications, they hold various health professional license in their respective fields, which enrich the educational and clinical process for students.
