FACULTY BIO

Dr. Naeem Anwar (Ph.D. in Medical Science with a sub-specialty in Infection Biology, 2013, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden) is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (HEA) and certified Microsoft education fellow with more than ten years of teaching experience at the university level. He is currently an assistant professor of Medical Microbiology at the College of Health and Sport Science (CHSS). Dr. Naeem's research interest includes; diagnostic microbiology, host-pathogen interactions, and infection control. He published original articles in many peer-reviewed journals besides serving as a reviewer in several journals.
