FACULTY BIO

Ms. Sherry Nasralla (MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2009, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt) is a Lecturer at the Pharmacy Program, Allied Health Department (AHD), College of Health and Sports Sciences (CHSS). She has 18 years of undergraduate teaching experience; as a demonstrator at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, Egypt, for three years, then as a lecturer at the CHSS, UoB, till present. Ms. Nasralla is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, UK. She has mentored three batches of colleagues completing their fellowships through the Unit for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (UTEL) at the University of Bahrain between 2017 and 2020. Ms. Nasralla has co-authored several journal articles, participated in scientific conferences with poster and oral presentations, and jointly received the first place (tie) Sh. Nasser Award, Bahrain Olympics Committee in the category of Medical Sports Research, May 2018. Her research interests include Pharmacology, Toxicology, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacy Education, and Workforce Development.
