FACULTY BIO

Mrs. Safeya Mohammed Ali Al Baharna (MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics 2019, University of Bahrain) is a Teaching and Research Assistant II at the Integrated Sciences Department at the College of Health and Sports Sciences. She has more than 10 years experience in teaching several courses offered by the department to other programs. Mrs. Safeya co-developed and coordinated several integrated sciences department courses in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, nutrition and clinical nutrition. She is Interested in conducting nutrition investigation especially those related to holistic nutrition, child nutrition, breastfeeding, and diets. Mrs. Safeya is an active member of many committees and taskforces at the department and college levels.
