FACULTY BIO

Dr. Gayathripriya is an assistant professor of Nursing (Maternity Nursing). She earned her Ph.D. in Maternity Nursing from Sri Ramachandra University, India in 2010. She has a permanent registration as Nurse & Midwife since 1998 from Nurses & Midwives council, Chennai – India, She also has achieved her fellow of the higher education academy, UK. Gayathripriya has an approximately 21 years of teaching experience in higher education. In 2014, she joined in the Department of Nursing, College of Health sciences, University of Bahrain, as an assistant professor. Presented over 30 International & National conferences, CNE Programs in nursing forum(2004– present). Supervised/Examined a number of master and doctorate theses. Editorial board member in Internationally recognized journals. Her main areas of research interest are Women’s Health, Nursing education.
