Dr. Mohamed Abdulla Maraghi

Dr Husain (PhD in Sports, 2018, Leeds Beckett University, UK) is the acting Chairperson of the Physiotherapy Department. He has over five years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience. He holds many positions, including an Assistant Professor and the Director of Quality Assurance Office at the College of Health and Sport Sciences, University of Bahrain. His clinical background is in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. His research interests are sports injuries, groin pain, and advancing health education and services. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the NSCA, a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) and a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA). He presented his work about hip arthroscopy changes, muscle strength testing, and physiotherapy services in symposiums and conferences locally, regionally, and internationally. Dr Husain published three scientific papers in international journals.
