Biography

Dr. Magda Bayoumi, PhD, FHEA is an Associate Professor of Medical-Surgical and Critical Care Nursing at the University of Bahrain with over 20 years of experience in nursing education, clinical practice, research, and academic leadership across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. She has held several academic leadership positions, including Head of the Nursing Department at the University of Bahrain.

Her expertise includes critical care nursing, nephrology nursing, simulation-based education, evidence-based practice, and nursing research. She has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and supervised numerous master theses.

Dr. Bayoumi is also an inventor with two recognized patents: one granted by the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (Saudi Arabia) and another registered through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the United States Patent and Trademark Office under the University of Bahrain.

She is an active speaker, reviewer, and conference organizer who is committed to advancing nursing education, research excellence, and healthcare outcomes through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
