Dr. Ahmed Hashem El-Monshed is an assistant professor of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University in Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Mansoura University in 2017. Dr. El-Monshed teaches several courses on nursing for undergraduate and post graduate students. He has more than 12 years of experience driven to inspire students to pursue academic and personal excellence. Consistently strive to create a challenging and engaging learning environment in which students become life-long scholars and learners. He served as a career development specialist at the Mansoura University Center for Career Development, launched by the American University in Cairo. He joined the College of Health & Sport Sciences, University of Bahrain in 2022. Dr. El-Monshed has organized several events, workshops, activities that serve the students and community. He also has a great experience working in university quality assurance and accreditation units, designing educational programs, and participating in setting their regulations and polices. Dr. El-Monshed is the author or coauthor of several papers in international refereed journals and several conference contributions. He has given several invited/plenary talks at international conferences. He reviewed several articles after invitations from highly international refereed journals. His research interests cover several aspects across psychiatric and mental health nursing, mainly distributed adult and women mental health and illnesses, child psychiatry, psychiatric liaison nursing, and psychosocial therapies. He has received several important recognitions to his research career.
