Biography


Dr. Ahmed Hashem El-Monshed is an Associate Professor of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, Egypt. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Mansoura University in 2017. With over 14 years of teaching and clinical experience, Dr. El-Monshed is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students. He consistently inspires students to achieve academic excellence while encouraging lifelong learning and professional development. In addition to his academic role, Dr. El-Monshed served as a Career Development Specialist at the Mansoura University Center for Career Development, launched by the American University in Cairo. In 2022, he joined the College of Health & Sport Sciences at the University of Bahrain, where he continues to contribute to student development, education, research, and community service. Dr. El-Monshed has a proven track record of organizing events, workshops, and activities that benefit both students and the broader community. He also brings extensive experience in university quality assurance and accreditation, having played a key role in designing educational programs and establishing academic regulations and policies. A prolific researcher, Dr. El-Monshed is the author or co-author of numerous papers published in international refereed journals, and he has made significant contributions to several academic conferences. Dr. El-Monshed has reviewed numerous scientific articles based on invitations from highly ranked international journals. In addition to his core expertise in Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing, Dr. El-Monshed's areas of experience and research interest include Child Psychiatry, Psychiatric Consultation-Liaison Nursing, Psychosocial Therapies, Psychopharmacology, Family & Community Mental Health, Community Health Nursing, Nursing Education, Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice, Clinical Nursing Practice, Leadership and Management, and Career Advising & Professional Development Dr. El-Monshed has received numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to research, academia, and community service, highlighting his dedication to advancing nursing and improving health care. His passion for both teaching and research continues to make a significant impact on students, colleagues, and the broader community.

Dr. Ahmed Hashem El-Monshed is an Associate Professor of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, Egypt. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Mansoura University in 2017.
