PROGRAM LEVEL

The Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program in Pharmacy is a two-and-a-half-year (88-credit) program. This program is designed to build upon existing knowledge of the associate diploma graduates, providing advanced theoretical understanding and specialized practical skills that align with the rapid developments in pharmaceutical care. It prepares graduates to tackle complex challenges in modern pharmacy practice, from advanced medication management to patient counseling. By completing this program, graduates will be ready to meet the increasing demands of the healthcare sector, make significant contributions to patient well-being, and establish themselves as highly skilled professionals in the field of pharmacy.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Graduates of the BSc Completion in Pharmacy will be prepared to:

  1. Implement the necessary knowledge, skills, and values in all pharmaceutical fields.
  2. Competently enter a future career or postgraduate studies in pharmacy.
  3. Demonstrate professional responsibilities according to legal, ethical, and professional standards of practice.

PROGRAM INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

The program graduates will be able to:

  1. Integrate knowledge, skills, and values to provide patient-centered care.
  2. Adhere to the legal requirements and apply the professional code of ethics throughout pharmacy practice.
  3. Apply research tools to evaluate up-to-date information related to drugs and health services and implement necessary changes.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Pass all the major courses shown in the curriculum plan with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0/4.0
  2. Achieving a minimum grade of C (70%) as proof of mastery on all professional courses and a minimum grade of D (60%) for non-professional courses.
  3. Successful completion of all credit hours ( A total of 88 credits)
